"Stones to Judgment Day" was written for filmmaker Allex Gregoire's short film "Perceptions," a story about the atrocities that occur when people judge one another and act upon those judgments. Norgaard's knack for poignant lyrics does not fall short in this song: "Why, why does it take tragedy to make us see...why we've got to be the change that sets us free."

Lyrics

I, I hear you talkin’
From a table across the room
I, I see you starin’
From that table across the room

CHORUS
Minds twirl, words unfurl
A trail to a twisted fate
Thoughts swirl, hands hurl
Stones to judgment day
Stones to our judgment day

Why, why does it take
Tragedy to make us see
Why we’ve got to be
Change that sets us free

CHORUS
Minds twirl, words unfurl
A trail to a twisted fate
Thoughts swirl, hands hurl
Stones to judgment day
Stones to our judgment day

It gets better
Echoes through the chamber of belief
We’re in this together
Turning thought to word to deed
Turning thought to word to deed
Turning thought to destiny

CHORUS
Minds twirl, words unfurl
A trail to a twisted fate
Thoughts swirl, hands hurl
Stones to our judgment day
Stones to our judgment day
Lay down the stones, build a better day
